Our lab is broadly interested in RNA bioinformatics and genomics. Our research focuses on applying computational and statistical methods to elucidate biological questions in RNA regulation, especially those related to omics data, aiming to enhance the understanding of RNA regulation in complex traits or disease context. Major research topics of my group include:

  • Applying bioinformatic methods to interpret and understand:.
    • RNA lifecycle: Alternative polyadenylation, RNA editing, RNA stability.
    • Non-coding genome: Noncoding RNAs, cis regulatory elements.
    • Single-cell biology: Tumor microenvironment, Maternal-infant interfaces
  • Applications in precision medicine: .
    • Diagnostic, Predictive, Prognostic, and Therapeutic modeling.
    • Novel therapeutic and druggable targets detection.
